Proforma for sending CorrectionsConditions to be followed while suggesting the changes are:Information required for adding a Post OfficeModification to be done in existing informationNote: If an office type is to be upgradeded or downgraded i.e. from BO to SO/HO or SO to BO or SO to BO, details of its subordinate offices after the change is also to be mentioned. Ex: If a SO with some branch offices is downgraded to BO or converted into non delivery SO, then before down- gradation its BOs are to be transferred to other SOs. The details of Transfer are required to do the modification. In addition account office of the Post office which is downgraded is also required.
Deletion of existing Post officeNote: If any subordinate offices exist under the same, details of transfer of such offices is required. Ex: If SO is deleted, its BO are to be transferred to other SO/HO. Details of transfer of its BOs is required.
For Addition /Modification in PIN code directory, please forward the information in the proforma available for download at http://www.sendspace.com/file/d2r01o by FAX or post from
the CO/RO/DO concerned.Change of PIN code in other web based applications will be done only after incorporating the changes in PIN code directory.
